UK students can pick up free fresh produce at Wildcat Market today

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – University of Kentucky students can get free fresh produce today while supplies last.

The Wildcat Market, now in its fourth year, is a free farmers market where UK students can take home locally sourced food. The event runs from 3 to 6 p.m. on Hilltop Lawn outside the William T. Young Library.

The market is sponsored by UK’s Student Activities Board and Student Government Association, which are working together to subsidize produce from the Organic Farming Unit at South Farm to distribute to students.
