Police: Missing ginseng hunters found safe

ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The search is over for two people that went missing while looking for ginseng in Estill County, according to officials. They tell us that their vehicle got stuck in the mud.

Monday 10:00 a.m.

ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A search is underway in Estill County after two people went ginseng hunting on Saturday and never returned, according to Kentucky State Police.

Officials say officers with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife, state police and rescue crews are searching off Middle Fork Road near Ky. 89.

They are looking for the vehicle the two people were last seen in.
