Motorcyclist dead after crash in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Franklin County Coroner’s office says a motorcyclist has died after a crash Sunday afternoon on Versailles Road and Grandview Drive near the shell station.

The coroner isn’t identifying the victim yet because his family hasn’t been notified.

Police say the bike hit a car that was pulling onto Versailles Road.

The driver of the car wasn’t hurt. The motorcyclist will undergo an autopsy Monday.
