Louisville man charged after stealing vehicle with baby inside
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Louisville man is facing charges after police say he stole a car with a 9-month-old baby inside.
The incident happened just after 5 p.m. Wednesday near South Brook Street on East Broadway. According to police, the child’s parents left the car running briefly with the baby inside when 33-year-old Brandon Conley got in and drove off.
The infant was later dropped off safely at Jewish Hospital. Officers arrested Conley a short time later at 27th and Ali.
Conley is charged with kidnapping and vehicle theft.
