Columbia man injured in Jamestown motorcycle crash
JAMESTOWN, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Columbia man was seriously injured in a crash Thursday morning in Jamestown.
Police say it happened just before 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 127 and Fruit of the Loom Drive. Investigators report that 30-year-old Jordan Wheat was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he struck the back of a Ford car driven by 72-year-old Reva Brown of Russell Springs.
Wheat was taken from the scene by Russell County EMS and later flown by helicopter for treatment of his injuries.
The Jamestown Police Department is leading the investigation, with assistance from the Russell County Sheriff’s Office and Jamestown Fire Department.
