Cincinnati Reds 2026 Opening Day and Schedule Announced

CINCINNATI, Oh. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The MLB announced the 2026 schedules earlier Tuesday afternoon, and the Cincinnati Reds will be hosting opening day once again. The Reds will kick off their 2026 campaign on Thursday, March 26th in an interleague series against the Boston Red Sox. The game will be a typical 3 game series to start the year with an off day being on Friday.

Other notable dates include the All-Star Break occurring from July 13th-16th, as well as the home finale being against NL Central rival Chicago Cubs from September 18th-20th. The Reds will end the 2026 campaign north of the border in Toronto to take on the Blue Jays from September 25th-27th.
