Man accused of murder due in court

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A Lexington man accused in a deadly 2021 shooting is set to return to court Monday for a status hearing.

Police say 31-year-old Brandon Dockery is charged with the June 2021 murder of Raymar Webb. Dockery was arrested following an officer-involved shooting during a standoff with Lexington Police and U.S. Marshals. He survived and was taken into custody.

Court records show Dockery was already on parole from a 2010 arson and attempted murder case. If convicted in this case, he could be forced to serve the remainder of that original sentence.
