Casa Superhero Run is happening Saturday

VERSAILLES, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The CASA Superhero Run returns to Winstar Farm Saturday, bringing a mix of family fun and fundraising to support children in foster care.

The event will feature a chip-timed 5K walk or run, a fun run for kids 12 and under, and a festival with free food, prizes, inflatables, face painting, and bubble foam pits.

Costumed cosplay characters from Toy Story, Star Wars, and Disney will also be on hand, and 5K participants will have the chance to collect hidden action figures along the course for additional prizes.

The kids’ fun run begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K at 9 a.m. Registration is available online at lex-super-hero-run.com or on-site the morning of the event.

All proceeds benefit CASA of Lexington, which provides advocacy for children in foster care across seven counties.
