Double shooting sends two to the hospital

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – An investigation is underway after a double shooting in Lexington sent two people to the hospital Wednesday night.

Police say the first victim, a man, was found shot around 9:20 p.m. on Whiteberry Drive near Leestown Road. A short time later, officers located a juvenile who had also been shot on Trailwood Lane near Chestnut Ridge Drive.

Authorities have not released details on the extent of their injuries, and no suspect information has been announced.
