Hal Rogers Parkway closures in Clay County
MANCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that lane and shoulder closures are scheduled to continue through Wednesday, October 31 on Hal Rogers Parkway in Clay County.
The project’s new working hours are listed below:
Daytime shift: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Sunday each week.
Nightime shift: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday through Friday each week.
The project begins just west of the Hal Rogers Parkway’s Manchester exit (milepoint 19.527), and ends at the Clay/Leslie County line (milepoint 35.900). The work will consist of roadway ditching, guardrail improvements and asphalt resurfacing.
Motorist are advised that the speed limit will be reduced to 45 MPH within the project limits and a double fine work zone will be effect where work is actively being performed.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, reduce their speed, expect delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
