Lexington woman charged with murder due in court, case moved to next week

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A woman charged with murder in connection to a deadly Lexington shooting is due back in court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing.
Police say 30-year-old Keaira Pennie is accused of shooting and killing 42-year-old Edwin Haddix on Bryan Station Road on August 10. Pennie entered a not guilty plea during her arraignment last week.
Court records show her case will be reviewed Wednesday as investigators continue their work.
