Large amount of cash seized in Clay County drug case

MANCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – More than $300,000 in cash was taken from a home in Clay County during a drug trafficking investigation.

The Manchester Police Department says its officers, along with agents from Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, conducted a search of the home on Friday.

Investigators say they found almost $315,000 in cash that was being used for drug trafficking.

They did not say if any arrests were made in the case but did say the investigation is continuing.
