Overturned semi closes I-75 South ramp from North Broadway in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — An overturned semi is causing major traffic delays near the on-ramp from North Broadway to I-75 South.

According to Lexwrecks, the ramp is shut down until further notice after a semi, reportedly loaded with gravel, overturned. Officials say a large fuel spill is also causing delays as crews work to clean up the scene.

Motorists will need to access I-75 South via Newtown Pike or Winchester Road. Drivers can also take North Broadway to I-75 North, then exit at Newtown Pike to access I-75 South.

No word yet on when the ramp will reopen.
