Police investigating shooting at Lexington park

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Lexington Police are investigating a Sunday evening shooting at Gainesway Park that left one woman injured.

Officers say the gunfire happened around 6:30 p.m. at the park on Campus Way, near Tates Creek High School. A short time later, a woman arrived at a hospital with a bullet graze wound. Her injuries were reported as non-life-threatening.

No suspect information has been released.
