Bardstown police seek help identifying ‘Little Debbie bandit’ caught on camera

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) Bardstown Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man they’re calling a “snack bandit,” accused of stealing 10 cases of Little Debbie snacks from a storage unit.

According to investigators, the man was seen on camera cutting a lock and loading the snack cakes—worth roughly $700—into a truck from a storage unit in the area.

In a social media post, police joked, “We like Little Debbie’s just as much as the next guy, but this guy went above and beyond to satisfy his sweet tooth. And listen… if it was 10 cases of Honey Buns, we get it—but we still need our guy.”

Authorities are also asking how the suspect knew the snacks were inside and what exactly he was after.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Bardstown Police Department.
