Fayette County school dean indicted in road rage incident

FAYETTE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) A Fayette County Public Schools dean has been formally indicted in connection to a road rage incident that occurred earlier this year.

John “Jay” Bordas is facing a charge of wanton endangerment, after being accused of following another driver home in April and pointing a gun at them following a traffic dispute.

According to the grand jury indictment, Bordas created a “substantial danger of death or serious injury” during the confrontation.

Bordas has been on administrative leave from Bryan Station High School, where he is a Dean of Students, since the incident. He is scheduled to be arraigned on August 29.
