St Joseph named one of Kentucky’s best hospitals

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Three Saint Joseph Health hospitals have received national recognition in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings.

Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington was named one of the top hospitals in Kentucky, coming in fifth overall. The hospital was also rated “High Performing” in several specialties, including heart failure, cancer care, and back surgery.

Saint Joseph East in Lexington and Saint Joseph London were also recognized, earning High Performing ratings in areas such as knee replacement and pneumonia treatment.

Hospital officials say the rankings reflect the system’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care for patients across the Commonwealth.

The U.S. News rankings are based on performance indicators including patient outcomes, staffing levels, and advanced technologies.
