Funeral services set for Wayne County teen Cayleb Rice after fatal crash

MONTICELLO, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Funeral arrangements have been announced for 16-year-old Cayleb Rice of Wayne County, who died in a crash Friday, three weeks shy of his 17th birthday, according to his obituary.

Rice, who played football and basketball and would have been a sophomore this fall, will lie in state at Monticello First Baptist Church for two visitations:

  • Tuesday: 3–8 p.m.

  • Wednesday: Beginning at 7 a.m., followed by a 1 p.m. funeral service

The family invites friends and community members to pay their respects and celebrate Cayleb’s life.
