Driver Slams Into Overpass
A driver suffered serious injuries after slamming into an overpass in Lexington Thursday morning.
Police said the driver was heading inbound on Harrodsburg Road and New Circle at 12:22 a.m. and hit a concrete pillar.
The driver had to be cut from the vehicle.
No one else was in the car.
Police are not sure what caused the crash but don’t believe wet roads were a factor.
