Dog abandoned at Most Valuable Pets in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A dog was abandoned at a pet store here in Lexington and the store is asking for the public’s help.

It happened around 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at Most Valuable Pets in the Beaumont Centre, says the pet store in an Instagram post.

MVP is trying to find the man who left behind a male dog.

The man was caught on surveillance video setting the leash down and quickly walking away.

The store posted the video and these pictures on it’s Instagram asking the public if they knew the man or recognized the dog.

The store went on to say it believes the man who left the dog was not its owner because the dog doesn’t look back at him when he walks away.

MVP says it believes the dog was stolen and if that’s the case they’re desperate to find the true owner before the dog is adopted out.
