Move In Day For Habitat For Humanity Family

A family is moving into their new home after a year of building it from the ground – up with Habitat For Humanity.

Juanita Moberly says move in day is bittersweet.

When she started building with Habitat, she had a home that was breaking down and she was trying to provide for her sick husband.

She decided to build a home that fit her husband’s needs.

During the building process, Juanita’s husband died.

She says now she knows he’s watching over the family in the new house.

“It feels awesome. It feels beautiful to see when there was nothing and to see what Habitat has did for me is awesome,” said Juanita Moberly.

The new house is about 1,300 square feet with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a two car garage.
