Kentucky father charged in deadly fire appears in court on new child sexual abuse charges
FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 News Now) — A Franklin County man already facing murder and arson charges in connection to a deadly house fire that killed his two teenage sons is due back in court Friday morning on separate sexual abuse charges.
Dustin Fields, 44, is scheduled for an arraignment on charges stemming from the alleged sexual abuse of a 4-year-old child between 2007 and 2009. Fields was indicted last week on the new charges, according to officials.
Fields is also charged with murder, arson, and animal torture in connection to the April 30 fire at a home in Frankfort. Investigators say the fire killed his two sons and a family dog.
