Lexington kicks off Fourth of July week with patriotic concert at Moondance Amphitheater

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) The City of Lexington is kicking off its Fourth of July celebrations Tuesday night with a patriotic concert at the Moondance Amphitheater.

According to city officials, the free big band and jazz performance will run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., marking the start of a weeklong series of events leading up to Independence Day.

The city’s Fourth of July parade and fireworks are scheduled for Friday.
