Franklin Humane Society Receives Estate

The Franklin County Humane Society addounced today that it has been bequeathed the entire estate of a recently deceased supportewr of the group.

Jean M. Gravitt requested that her entire estate be left to the organization.

The amount of her estate is a little over $250,000 dollars.

Mrs. Gravitt hoped the estate would go towards a new facility for the Franklin County Humane Society.

The Franklin County Humane Society received a $70,000 dollar gift earlier this year from a PETCO grant.

Estimates on the new facility range from $2 to $2.5 million dollars.
