Overnight fire destroys two trailers in Knox County, investigation underway
KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Firefighters in Knox County responded to a major structure fire just after midnight Tuesday on Paynes Branch, off KY 1304.
According to the Richland Fire Department, both a double wide and a single wide trailer were fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived. Four fire trucks and several firefighters were called to the scene, along with a deputy from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
There’s no word yet on what caused the fire or whether anyone was injured.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
