Garrett Firefighters respond to deadly Floyd County house fire

HUEYSVILLE, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — One person is dead after a house fire in Floyd County late Sunday night, according to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department.

The fire happened in the Railroad Station–Barn Road area of Hueysville, officials with the Garrett Fire Department confirmed.

Deputies say the cause of the fire is still under investigation. The identity of the person killed has not yet been released.
