Affinity Media & Public Relations works exclusively with nonprofit organizations to build brand recognition, clearly define their mission and objectives, and help stakeholders and the community at large connect the dots between charitable organizations and the impact they make. We work to enhance images in the public eye and the good work being delivered through focused and intentional public relations campaigns, meaningful communications (both internal and external), and earned media.

 

Just as with corporate brands, nonprofits seek to increase their overall awareness and visibility among their target audiences. However, it can be challenging to allocate funding to public relations and marketing efforts when many charities are running extremely tight budgets, with the majority of dollars going towards program and mission-driven work. About the founder: Dan Koett is an accomplished and award-winning nonprofit executive who has spent over twenty years advancing the missions and impact of charitable organizations. Prior to launching Affinity, Dan delivered dynamic and game-changing leadership to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® (state executive director), Boy Scouts of America (chief marketing officer), and the YMCA. A fifteen year veteran of the Y, Dan most recently served in a dual-role with the YMCA of Central Kentucky as their Vice President of Marketing & Communications and Executive Director of the C.M. Gatton Beaumont branch, the Y’s largest in the Bluegrass.
