Leslie County man dies from injuries suffered in crash
HAZARD, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Leslie County man has died after being injured in a crash earlier this week.
Kentucky State Police responded to a three-vehicle accident on Monday around 8:10 a.m. on the Hal Rogers Parkway near the 46 mile marker in Leslie County.
According to State Police, a driver in a 2000 Honda CRV crossed the center line and went into the opposite lane, sideswiping a 2005 Ford Ranger.
The Honda then collided head-on with a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe and overturned.
The driver of the Honda, 54-year-old Bobby Morgan, of Stinnett, was thrown from the vehicle.
He was flown to the hospital.
State Police say he died Thursday morning as a result of his injuries.
Police say Morgan was not wearing a seat belt.
