State Police identify man killed in Fleming County house fire

FLEMING COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Kentucky State Police have released the name of the man killed in a house fire Tuesday morning in Wallingford.

According to investigators, the fire broke out around 7:30 a.m. at a residence in the Wallingford area. The homeowner, 69-year-old John Niece, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the fire has not been determined. State Police say the investigation is ongoing.
