Madison County suspect charged in double stabbing case
MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A man is facing serious charges after a double stabbing over the weekend in Berea.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, 34-year-old James Cochran was arrested Saturday after deputies responded to a reported knife attack on Owsley Fork Road.
Investigators say a man and a woman were both stabbed multiple times. The man was treated at the scene, while the woman was taken to UK Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Cochran is now charged with attempted murder and assault. The investigation is ongoing.
