Lexington man accused of seeking sex with a minor

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington man was arrested after investigators say he traveled to Frankfort to have sex with a minor.

The Kentucky Office of the Attorney General says 47-year-old Robert Watchorn showed up to meet the minor but instead, found undercover officers waiting for him.

The Office of the Attorney General says the arrest was part of a lengthy undercover investigation by office’s Department of Criminal Investigations, Cyber Crimes Unit.

Watchorn was charged with one count of seeking sex with a minor online.
