UPDATE: Mount Vernon Police say armed and dangerous suspect arrested

UPDATE:

Mount Vernon police say the suspect, Bradly Wyatt, has been arrested and is in custody.

MOUNT VERNON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — The Mount Vernon Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted on multiple serious charges and considered armed and dangerous.

According to a public safety alert posted by the department, Bradly Dylan Wyatt was last seen driving a white 2016 four-door Chevrolet truck with Kentucky license plate M8H609. He was spotted on Scaffold Cane Road in Rockcastle County, heading in the direction of Madison County.

Police say Wyatt is wanted on the following charges:

  • One felony warrant

  • One misdemeanor warrant

  • Fleeing or evading police, 1st degree

  • Wanton endangerment, 1st degree

  • Theft of a handgun

  • Theft of a motor vehicle

  • Possession of a handgun by a convicted felon

  • Burglary, 3rd degree

The department warns that Wyatt is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Anyone who sees the suspect or his vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately.
