Woman accused in shooting death of 24-year-old man due in court

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — According to court records, 40-year-old Mia White is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Monday at 8:30 a.m.

White is accused of shooting and killing 24-year-old Elmer Eldridge on Newtown Pike on May 2nd.

According to officers, Eldridge died later at a hospital. His death marks the city’s sixth homicide of the year.
