Dates and times set for graduations at UK

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The University of Kentucky is gearing up to honor the Class of 2025 during commencement ceremonies this weekend at Rupp Arena.

More than 5,700 degrees have been conferred, with over 4,200 graduates expected to walk across the stage during celebrations on Friday, May 10, and Saturday, May 11.

Among this year’s graduates are stories of resilience and ambition — including a former foster youth earning a degree in social work, a cancer survivor set to receive her medical degree, and a graduate with dreams of becoming an astronaut.

University officials say the Class of 2025 represents the best of Kentucky and is ready to make a difference in the world.
