Lexington man robbed and pistol whipped at his home

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police say a man who was robbed early Sunday morning, also got pistol whipped.

According to officers, the man told them someone knocked on the door of his Victoria Way home around a quarter to two.

When he answered, a man reportedly hit him in the face with a gun.

He also took his wallet and ran away.

Police say the attacker was about 5 foot 9, stocky build with a black mask and a hoodie.
