Man charged in Mt. Sterling hit-and-run
MT. STERLING, Ky. (WTVQ)- A man is behind bars in Mt. Sterling, accused of hitting and killing a man with his car.
Police have arrested Juan Luis Pelayo Rodriguez.
They say he hit a pedestrian on U.S. Highway 460 late Friday night then drove off.
The county coroner says the man he’s accused of killing is 24-year-old Bo Wesley Beam from Winchester who died at St. Joseph Hospital Mount Sterling.
He’s charged with second-degree manslaughter, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to render aid in death or serious physical injury.
