Man arrested for indecent exposure at Lexington Arboretum

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — The Lexington Police Department says they arrested 32-year-old Badr Al Anazi after being called to a scene at the Lexington Arboretum Wednesday morning.

According to investigators, Al Anazi was allegedly threatening victims by throwing trash at cars and carrying a dumbbell while cursing at victims.

Officials say visitors began to leave before police arrived which is when victims tell investigators Al Anazi allegedly pulled down his pants and exposed himself to several adults and small children.

Right before police arrived, investigators say Al Anazi got into his truck and tried to hit one of the victims.

When police arrived, they say he fled the scene. A traffic stop was attempted, but police say he eventually drove away.

According to court records, police arrested him on Centre Parkway Road several hours later.

Al Anazi is charged with first degree wanton endangerment, menacing, two counts of indecent exposure, criminal littering, disorderly conduct, fleeing or evading police and reckless driving.

He is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
