KY 2996 to be closed in Whitley Co. on Thursday and Friday

MANCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that KY 2996 (Wolf Creek River Road) in Whitley County will be closed at milepoint3.7 from 7 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2 through 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3.

Maintenance crews will reinforce the embankment and repair the damage to the road base caused by recent heavy rainfall.

Drivers should expect delays and avoid the area if possible. The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
