GREEN DAY, WI. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Deone Walker is the second and final Kentucky Wildcat to be selected in the 2025 NFL Draft with the Buffalo Bills choosing him in the fourth round 10th overall on Saturday.

The Detroit native joins fellow former Wildcats Maxwell Hairston and Ray Davis in Upstate New York for the upcoming season. Hairston was selected 30th overall by Buffalo in the first round on Thursday. Davis was a 2024 NFL Draft pick to Head Coach Sean McDermott’s team.

Walker tormented SEC quarterbacks for three seasons at Kentucky where he amassed over 130 tackles, including 22 for loss and 10 sacks. He was also a team captain twice and started 35 games in a row throughout his career.

Head Coach Mark Stoops now has had 30 players drafted during his tenure at UK, 26 of them have happened since 2018. Walker is the 18th defensive player and seventh defensive lineman who played under Stoops to be selected in the Draft.
