Classes canceled for funeral of Adair County Middle School student

ADAIR COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Today is the first of two visitations for 14-year-old Skyler Huckaby who died in a crash over the weekend.

According to Bernard Funeral Home, Huckaby died last Sunday from his injuries after a crash.

A visitation wil be held Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m.

The funeral will follow the Friday visitation at Free Union Separate Baptist Church in Columbia.

Huckaby was an eighth-grade student at Adair County Middle School.

The district says classes are canceled at all of the public schools in the county on Friday for the funeral.
