Jay Corman, son of railroad executive R.J. Corman, facing burglary and threat charges in Jessamine County

JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — A Jessamine County man, identified as the son of well-known railroad executive R.J. Corman, is facing multiple serious charges after an incident earlier this month.

According to deputies, Jay Corman was arrested following a trespassing call that led law enforcement to a home on Jessamine Station Road.

A citation states that Corman allegedly broke into the home, threatened to kill the people inside, and refused to comply with deputies’ commands when they arrived. Deputies say they were forced to use a Taser before taking him into custody.

Corman is now charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, and terroristic threatening. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The case remains under investigation.
