Pedestrian seriously injured in crash on Georgetown Road

UPDATE #2: The accident has been cleared. All roads are back open.

 

UPDATE: From the Lexington Police Department:

The crash happened around 6:50 a.m. on an inbound lane of Georgetown Road, near Mercer Road. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. According to police, the driver left the scene, but was later located.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — According to a post from LexWrecks, all inbound lanes on Georgetown Road are blocked after a crash involving a pedestrian near Mercer Road.

Traffic is being diverted to Nandino Boulevard.
