Lexington police arrest bank robbery suspects

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Two suspects charged in connection to a bank robbery Wednesday at the Central Bank on Richmond Road are due in court today.

According to police, 21-year-old Jamalachi Taylor and 18-year-old Jaycorion Dawson allegedly robbed Central Bank around 3:30 p.m. Officers say one of the suspects allegedly went into the bank, demanded money, and then drove off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say the department’s real-time intelligence center helped officers find the suspect’s car on East New Circle Road.

Taylor and Dawson are both scheduled for arraignments at 1 p.m. today.
