Wolfe County man charges with child sexual exploitation

CAMPTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Wolfe County man was arrested Tuesday afternoon for distribution and possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

58 year-old Chester Bailey was arrested by the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch and the Wolfe County Sheriff’s Department.

Bailey was arrested as a result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for Bailey’s residence.

Bailey is currently charged with one count of distribution and 10 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

Each charge is a Class-D felony, which holds a punishment of one to five years in prison.

Bailey was lodged in the Lee County Detention Center.
