Getting a Jump on Gift Giving
Speaker 1: As we race into the holiday season and time becomes more and more precious, lifestyle expert David Sinclair believes it’s important to stay in the holiday spirit.
David Sinclair: Bring some cheer nice and early and expensively. Also don’t wait until the last minute to get everything done. And find a store where you can buy something for everybody on your list. One-stop shopping, eliminate the stress.
Speaker 1: The idea of one-stop shopping should appeal to anyone with a long gift list.
David Sinclair: My go-to store, which is Lowe’s, the Black Friday Sales are going on right now as I speak, and are going on through the end of the year.
Speaker 1: Many retailers, like Lowe’s, make it easier to get a jump-start on gift giving.
David Sinclair: For example, if you go over there right now, up to 40% off select appliances, up to 40% off Craftsman products.
Speaker 1: If you’re looking to give loved ones piece of mind, consider this advice.
David Sinclair: I think technology gives people piece of mind, especially this holiday season. There’s so many gifts out there that takes somebody’s home and turn it into a smart home. So Google, Nest, and Ring products, things like learning thermostats, and doorbell cameras, and voice-controlled smart hubs. Don’t have to be tech-savvy to run this stuff.
Speaker 1: Check out the deals at lowes.com.
