Pedestrian hospitalized after being hit by car on Winchester Road
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — One person was taken to the hospital after getting hit by a vehicle around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday on Winchester Road.
The road between Polo Club Boulevard and Man O’ War was shut down for hours.
Police say the person hit was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the driver was not hurt.
Investigators say criminal charges are not expected against the driver.
That area of Winchester Road reopened around 2:30 this morning.
