Louisville man arrested for exploiting an elderly woman

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police in Louisville credit tips from the public for helping them arrest a man accused of exploiting an elderly woman with memory loss.

Officers say Dwon Saywers went to a woman’s home four times and convinced her to give him money.

At first, Saywers took her to an ATM, but waited outside.

Then police say on later trips he eventually went in with her.

He reportedly took almost $3,000 from her.

Now, he’s behind bars facing theft and exploitation charges.
