Mr. and Mrs. Kentucky Basketball announced

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Your 2025 Mrs. Kentucky Basketball is Zakiyah Johnson of Sacred Heart. Johnson was the leading scorer for her team with 21 points when Sacred Heart defeated GRC in the KHSAA Sweet 16 final on Saturday night. Johnson is committed to play at LSU.

Your 2025 Mr. Kentucky Basketball is Malachi Moreno of Great Crossing. He is committed to play for Mark Pope and the University of Kentucky next year. Following the steps of Travis Perry who was the 2024 Mr. Kentucky Basketball recipient.
