Kentucky men’s basketball gearing up for Oklahoma in SEC Tournament
Wildcats play the Sooners at approximately 9:30 p.m.
NASHVILLE, Tn. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Kentucky men’s basketball plays its first SEC Tournament game of the Mark Pope era on Thursday night at approximately 9:30 p.m. ET versus Oklahoma.
The Wildcats are the the No. 6 seed and the Sooners are the No. 14 seed and knocked off No. 11 Georgia on Wednesday night 81-75.
This will be the second matchup between the teams this season. On February 26, UK beat OU in Norman 83-82 as former Sooner Otega Oweh scored the game winning bucket. He had a career-high 28 points.
OU got 20 points from Jalon Moore and 18 from Jeremiah Fears versus the Cats.
