Kentucky State Police charge Morgan County man in sexual abuse, incest investigation

WEST LIBERTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Morgan County man has been arrested and charged following an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse.

According to Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 8, troopers were requested by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office on February 19 to assist in an investigation concerning sexual abuse allegations.

A KSP detective responded to a residence in the West Liberty community, where they spoke with multiple individuals, including two female juveniles. After conducting interviews, authorities also questioned 56-year-old Timmy Ray Keeton.

Following the investigation, on February 22, 2025, Keeton was charged with:

• Incest
• Rape (3rd degree)
• Two counts of Sexual Abuse (1st degree)
